So, this is not my usual review format but I thought that this product would call for more of an experiment type of post.
So, first of all, the product. It looks like this.
So things I would like to talk about before anything else:
- Minty Taste - Some reviews I have read as reference said that it had an extremely minty taste so you have to be careful. Personally, I didn't feel any out of the ordinary minty taste. It was a lot more tamer than the taste of my usual Colgate toothpaste.
- Way I Use It - So, I thought of a way on how to maximize the application of it to your teeth. This way works the best for me. I rinse my mouth and then I brush my teeth without dipping it into the water first or anything. It just provide undiluted contact of the toothpaste to the teeth.
- Stains - So, it has some kind of blue coloring (?) in it so it will stain. So, I don't recommend biting any cloth after brushing your teeth. (?) (It made more sense in my head.) It actually did stain my toothbrush.
Now that all of that is out of the way, here's the experiment proper.
BEFORE THE FIRST BRUSHING AND AFTER THE SIXTH BRUSHING:
So it does gradually have a whitening effect and it does fulfill to it's "whiter teeth after one brush" claim. Although, it is not as dramatic a change as I expected but there is an actual change in color.
A downside to this though is that I've only used it for about a week and a quarter of the tube is gone already. Other than that, I think that it realistically lives up to its claims.
WOULD I RECOMMEND?: Yeap!
AVAILABILITY: I got mine at Unimart, Greenhills. I assume you can get this at any grocery stores.
