Fashion: Accessorization (Rings)

Hi guyss!!

Here comes another end to yet another series!

But this just might be the most useless one among all my accessorization posts. I know that I have been saying again and again how your own personal style affects how you should wear your accessories. Even though I said this, I always come up with tips on how to wear 'em.

Well, for this one, I'm drawing blanks. Rings seriously depend on personal style. There really is no right or wrong way to wear a ring.

Here are a few photos of how I would wear my rings. No captions cause I really don't have anything to say for this one! LOL

So, yeah, I hope that help somebody but if it didn't, then, I hope you enjoyed the photos.

Here's to another finished series!

Fashion: Accessorization (Bracelets)

Hellooooooo!!

I'm sorry if I'm doing these posts in a row. I usually try to space out similar posts but I really want to finish this series before I leave so, for today and tomorrow, it'll both be accessorization posts.

Anywhoo, this one's for bracelets. I've been really into bracelets lately and here's how I usually wear them.

These kinds of bracelets are too loud to be mixed with other pieces so, things like these, I'd rather wear alone.

Actually, this is more of a bangle than a bracelet... right? Actually it's a cuff. But whatever it is, I'd still wear it alone. :D

However, if you want to mix bracelets but every time you do it, you feel like something is wrong, here are a few tips.

One is to mix like colors. In the photo above, I mixed all my silver bracelets together and added one with a little turquoise for a pop of color.

Another is to mix like tones. In the photo above, I put on a couple of my warm toned bracelets and threw in a floral bracelet to give everything a summer effect.

I mentioned earlier that you can mix like colors, in relation to that, you can also mix like materials. I got my three bracelets that had some rock/shell detailing in them.

But stacking bracelets is just a matter of personal taste. In the photo above, I just grabbed everything that I haven't worn yet and jammed them up my wrist. For some, it might look good, for others, not really.

But just try and experiment to find your personal style.

So, yeah!

Hope you like!

Fashion: Accessorization (Earrings & Watches)

Hey guysss!!

First of all, I forgot to take a picture of my other pair of earrings. I don't know why but I forgot! I'm sorry! Id you guys want it, then tell me.

So anyways, I basically have a rule of thumb when it comes to wearing earrings.
Studs can be worn with absolutely anything but I typically wear it with anything that has a strap or sleeves or anything like that.

While dangle earrings, on the other hand, I use when I'm wearing a strapless dress so that the focus will totally be on the earrings and not a clash between the earrings and the sleeves or straps.

Okay so onto my watches.

"Loud" watches like these, I don't really wear with anything. But you can wear thin dainty little bracelets with it. But it shouldn't take away from the watch.

Then, my fossil watch, I pile on as much bracelets as I can with it. I think it's because I don't like how the watch looks alone so I pile it with as much bracelets as I can. I barely wear this watch alone.

So, that's about it!

Hope you like!

Fashion: Accessorization (Bangles) + MZCOUTURE PHOTOS

Hellooooooooooooo!!

Read until the end to see the MZCouture photos!

Here's another accessorization entry and this time, it's on my bangle collection!

Bangles are a quick-fix to any plain outfit! Just grab one, put it on and you're ready to go.

To go with an understated but glam look, a simple silver bangle set would give you your sparkle fix.

For that pop of color, put on a bright chunky bangle and your outfit just got a little funner!

If you're trying to achieve the "Boho" style and you feel like there's something missing, slap on a leather wristband and there you go.

If you're wearing your favorite black dress but want to dress it down a bit, grab your favorite funky bangle and there you go, it's a bit more dressed-down but still fabulous!

However, if you have a casual top that you want to dress up, grab a chunky silver bangle. This will add the glam factor that will bring your casual top to the next level.

If you're wearing something plain but you don't want to commit to a bright bangle, then grab a black and gold piece to complete your outfit!

If you're ready to go but still feeling a bit blah then grab the most intricate piece you can find to add a statement piece to your bland outfit.

If you're just looking for your girly fix, then just grab your favorite bangle set and you can now leave the house.

There you go! :) I tried to "level up" the accessorization posts so, I hope you guys love 'em! :)

Anyways, onto the second agenda. Remember when I told you guys the modelling thing I did? The photos are finally out!

That also means that the skirts are all on sale and ready to be taken home! Here are the photos and the direct links to where you can purchase the piece!

And get this! There's FREE SHIPPING for all buyers from the Philippines! Awesome right? Grab yours now!

Fashion: Accessorization (Short Necklaces)

Hwatsup!!

First of all, let us acknowledge my photographer for the night. He refused to take the photo until I was smiling to the camera so, that's why they all look so 1x1 I.D. picture-esque.
He said the flash was too bright. That's why he looks like that!

Anyways, here's the post!

For statement pieces like the photo above, you need a plain top or ones with patterns that are repetitive so that the piece will still stand out.

Or, like the photo above, you can wear it with a low-ish neckline so that the focus would all be on the piece.

Using the piece under a black blazer would make the piece pop because of the contrast of the colors.

Using it with a tube top will also give the focus to the piece especially with the absence of straps or sleeves.

I've seen this style before. My little brother calls it the girl version of the bow tie. So, if you're somehow required to wear a collared shirt, here's a unique way to sport your necklace.

As for the smaller necklaces, every clothing item I said that you shouldn't wear with long-chained necklaces, you can wear with short necklaces.

For example, you can wear it with a graphic top because it doesn't disturb the designs.

You can also wear it with a v-necked top because the neckline highlights the piece itself.

Also, short necklaces do nothing to disturb details like ruffles on tops.

It also does nothing to disturb the neckline-design on the top in the photo above.

Also, even though in the photo above, the design is not full along the neckline, you still would not want to take away from the accent piece so, a short necklace is a better option.

Here's another accent piece you do not want to take away from. If you have details like a bow on the sleeve, you'd want to wear a short necklace so that you won't take away from the accent piece.

So, yeah!

Hope you like!

I'll be posting a lot more of these in succession because I want to get all these posts done before I leave for the States so, you were warned! :)

Fashion: Accessorization (Long-Chained Necklaces)

Hellooooooow!

I've got really really really REALLY good responses from you guys for the last Accessorization entry. Thank you SOOO much! Now, here's the second one.

This one is regarding my Long-Chained Necklace Collection. For this one, I took the opportunity to make a shameless plug of my online store *cough* MeTime Manila *cough*.

I didn't use pieces from my own collection but I'll gladly make another post if you guys really want one.

On with the post!

Long-Chained necklaces are probably the most versatile and the easiest type of accessories to wear, in my opinion. It doesn't take much to find an outfit that will look good with a long chained necklace.

If you're starting to welcome yourself into the idea of accessorizing, sporting long-chained necklaces would be your best bet.

Long-chained necklaces can go...

... from chill to frill.

... from boho to retro.

... from mall-ready to office-baby.

But that doesn't really help you guys out, does it?

To make it a little clearer, here are three outfit-scenarios wherein I avoid long-chained necklaces like the plague.

In my very very humble opinion, wearing long-chained necklaces with V-Neck tops is a no-go. The V of the neckline with the V that the chain creates is just too redundant for my taste.

(But if that's your style, then by all means, rock it.)

Another kind of top is one that had gorgeous gorgeous detail at the neckline. Be it crochet detail, lace or ruffles. It would simply be too much!
Last is with a graphic shirt that has an abundance of print in the front. In the photo above you can barely the necklace!

So, yeah! That's about it!
