Suitcase Stories: San Francisco (Golden Gate Park)

Not so near to the Golden Gate bridge is the Golden Gate park.

Warning picture heavy post so, yeah.

We went to two different parks.

We went to the Japanese Tea Park as well as the Botanical Garden.

We got lost on our way to the Japanese Tea Park. (Actually, I got us lost cause I was the navigator! Hihi) So, I had an awesome idea. I saw a bunch of Japanese people and I decided to just follow them cause chances are they too are headed for the Japanese Tea Garden.

I was wrong.

Anywhoo... here goes!

BAMBOO!! Hihi!

So. Many. Trees.

So. Many. Bushes.

I love the spiky-ness!

Purdy White Flower.

I loove the little pond there!

A little creek there too!

I love the silhouette of the trees!

LOVE the pink little flowers!

The sun peeking through!

I don't know what that is, but it's cute!

Bamboo fence!

My two sisters and my mom.
The boys went back to the hotel cause they got bored I guess.

I love the color!!

Pretty pagoda!

The water is just gorgeous!

I love that tree in the middle!

TALL ones!

Stairs! LOL

I love how these leaves look like.
What are they?

Cute bridge!

My mom and my two little sisters started climbing the bridge but then, there were still some people taking their photo on the bridge so my mom and one of my sisters climb down.

My other sister got the brilliant idea of just crouching down and hoping she doesn't end up in the frame.

Bad idea.

The people whose picture were being taken were just looking at her and she didn't even know cause she was crouched down and she can't see anything.

From my view (I was beside the person taking the picture) I just see my sister's butt sticking out and I hear my mom say, "Ba't ka naka-purundul dyan?"

The word "purundul" just made me laugh harder.

Hayyyy... Memories. :)

Anywhoo... We left the Japanese Tea Garden already.

A tree probably outside the Japanese Garden.

I've been waiting the whole trip to see a squirrel! I FOUND one!!

Stylish couple!

Here, we entered the Botanical Garden. My favorite place in the WHOLE park.

I don't know about you but I find this flower cute.

This tree is soooo unusual!!

These look like chilis!

The trail we had to follow.

What we were stepping on.

My greatest enemy!

I love how colorful the place was!

Another weird leaf specie!

The view behind my sunglasses.

We found a clearing in the garden so, we decided to enjoy it.
My sister and a random guy enjoying the sunlight.

The grass really is greener on the other side....
of the world.

I was trying to achieve a certain Tumblr-esque photo but I kept failing!

My sister again.

My two little sisters.

The random guy!

My final attempt at that Tumblr-y photo.

Then, I decided to just take pictures of my shoes instead.

Little sister!

I fell in love with mother nature that day.

The biggest tree I've ever seen.
It looks like a giant Christmas tree!!

Last photo before we left the garden.

I feel a little bit more relaxed just by reliving the visit to those gardens.

Hope you like!
