Product Experiment: Purederm Vitalizing Green Tea Pack Face Mask

What-is-up?

As you have probably read in a previous haul, I won a Green Tea mask from Lady E's giveaway.

I decided to use it and here are my thoughts on my first time using this.

First off, with the packaging, I don't like it. It has the "Tear Here" kind of opening and there is no way to regulate the product outpour. I suggest that you use scissors with this and cut it at an angle instead of ripping off the whole top of it.

This is what the product looks like. It's a gel substance and it has these little bead things. Not the exfoliating type of beads but a bit softer. It doesn't feel abrasive whatsoever.
Again, I don't know if I should've put on more on my face but this seemed like the right amount for me.

It's clear on the face and it doesn't harden like most masks. I felt a menthol feeling but I don't really know if that came from the hair mask or the face mask. (I did them both at the same time! LOL)

This is what my face looked like after. No major differences after the first try. It was an experience though cause I have never tried these kinds of masks before. :)

Oh and I don't think I have mentioned this but this is the wash-off type of mask.

Product Experiment: Purederm Botanical Choice Shiny & Hydrating Hair Mask

If you read my previous haul of my winnings from Lady E's birthday giveaway, you'd know that I received this hair mask as a part of my prize.

I was so excited to try it out and I thought I'd share with you my experience with it.

Here's what the packet looks like. There's a perforated part in the corner and when you tear that off, the opening is narrow to regulate the product that's coming out.

The product itself looks like this. Pretty much similar to any regular hair deep conditioning product.

It said to put a generous amount on wet hair. This is as generous as I allowed it to be cause I have fine hair and if I put too much product on it, it becomes oily.

I don't know if I should have put on some more cause the picture in the packet (seen below) shows the girls hair white, I assume, cause of the amount of product.

But judging from the effect, I think that I should have placed more on my hair because there wasn't much of an effect.

My hair does feel ever-so-slightly softer but even my Cream Silk Hair Treatment had better effects.

I'll try this next time with more product and maybe I'll post a part two.

Product Experiment: Clinique Take the Day Off

In one of my hauls, Hollie requested for me to review the makeup remover that I got for free. Being a good blog-owner, I agreed!

Here goes!

By the way, this is not one of my rating-review kind of thing. I opted for an experiment 'cause I'm lazy 'cause it's more suitable.

First of all, as always, is the packaging. I hate it. It might just be for tester bottles but, I still hate it. Sometimes, Clinique does awesomely on testers such as with the Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss but with this one, they could've placed a nozzle or something, anything to regulate pouring.

But, the cap is awesome cause it's spill proof and child safety, I think. It has the push-down-and-twist cap which does help with security.

So, here are the items for the experiment.

3. Covergirl Lash Blast Volume

4. Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Love That Red

Maybelline Brush Blush: because the product was only for Lids, Lashes and Lips

D.I.Y. Primer: because I lost it just when I was gonna do the swatches.

After two swipes, you can see that only the mascara and the liner stayed put. I was shocked actually 'cause I was so sure that the matte lipstick and the stain was going to hold up longer. So, that's good actually.

But for the mascara and the liner, both of those things, based on experience, can be taken off just by rubbing.

So, I guess this product works easier with removing lip products.

After a few more swipes though, the liner and mascara eventually disappeared.

Again, I don't think I could recommend this. As you can see, it doesn't take the mascara off in one swipe so, I don't really think it's worth the price that you're paying for it.

By the way, it's worth Php630 approximately for the full sized one. I honestly think that you can find drugstore brands that would work the same if not better.

So, basically, I do not recommend not 'cause it works badly but because it works satisfactorily.
