Shoes-Day!

Helloooo!

Happy (Insert name of holiday here) Guys!

I went to my friend's house today then to Megamall afterwards. The mall was crazy packed! Had to park way way over at Shang.

Anywhoo... here's what I wore today!
Long Top, Greenhills; Vest, Hand Me Down; Bag, SM Department Store; Shoes, Market Market

Oh and here's a mini-haul. A really really really tiny shoe haul.

The one above, the boyfriend got for me for our 2 year anniversary. I died when I saw this. THEY ARE TOO CUTE! They bought them from Nava.

The one below I just HAD to buy for myself. I got it a while ago from Forever 21 for Php1,870. I got the last pair of size 8's. Serendipity! :)

This has pretty much been how my room has been looking these days. It looks like it has been hit with whatever calamity we have nowadays.
Can't wait to get my homework over with so I can clean my room up already.

Oh and when I get tired of doing homework I read this book in my down time. It's a really cool book about Bohemians and stuff.
Oh and now I'm watching Superstar.

Photo from Wikipedia.

Did any one of you guys watch this when you were younger? I think I was 8 when I saw this on TV or something.

I used to love this movie.

I remember thinking it was the funniest sh*t I have ever seen.

Anywhoooo...

Ima watch now so, yeah.

Seen you!

My little brother went to the ICA fair and got me this turtle necklace that I turned into a bracelet.

Anywhooo, my sister and I went to our gown fiting for our cousins wedding.

This is what my gown looks like.

It's Way Too Early

Can I start by sharing a weird story?

Last Saturday, I was driving along Shaw Blvd. and I saw people on the sidewalk pointing and laughing at something in the street.

The boyfriend was trying to crane his neck to see what it was.

It was a snake.

Yes, a snake.

Don't ask me what kind. They're all the same to me.

A freakin' snake in the middle of Shaw!

The boyfriend's theory: It came from the sewers and it got out because of the flood and rain and whatever.

My goodness.

The things you see.

Anyways, recently I have been a working student once again. My mom hired me to work for her with pay, which is cool and all. So, I have to juggle school-work and work-work which was why I have made quite the disappearance.

I have set my schedule and adjusted and now I'm back!

So, how are you?

Things have been crazy with me.

Usually, on Mondays I don't have any classes but I still had to wake up at 7am to go to work. Ergo, the title. I was SO not feeling the morning a while ago and I was groggy until work. Anywho, care to see my groggy outfit?

Oh and my FAVORITE sandals are close to its death. :(

SUCKS.

Anywhoo, see you guys soon.

Hopefully!

Forgive My Vanity

OHMYGOSH!!

I was so giddy when I got the photos!

Short story shorter, we had a photoshoot many moons ago.

Here's what the camera gave birth to.

Amazing work by the photographers!

And the thing was that they weren't allowed to edit!!

Cool, huh?

'Cause I really don't look like that on a regular basis.

LOL

Ensembles x Religioso

One thing that I did not like about the corporate world is the clothes you get you wear.

The thought of being required to wear the clothes they had to wear frightened me which is probably one of the many reasons why I opted to go to an arts school for college.

But when I saw these...

I was floored.

What job will I have to go into to be able to wear these outfits?

These pieces are what came out of the Ensembles and Religioso collaboration.

Sisters Yvette Religioso-Ilagan and Choc Religioso-Dayrit recently celebrated their 4th year anniversary in the fashion design industry. They started by doing weddings in 2005 and later on started their own clothing brand and finally opened its flagship store in 2006. Religioso, their main women’s line, embodies the stylish empowered woman of the new millennium, inspired by the genteel well-dressed women of the past. This makes Ensembles and Religioso a perfect tandem: FEMALE, FLATTERING, EMPOWERING and TIMELESS.

This definitely defies my preconceived notion of what the corporate employees put on before leaving for work.

It definitely injects some color and fun and unexpected twists to the otherwise bland work area.

But if you are like me and you still depend on your parents for your allowance, and have yet to receive your first paycheck, you can still be "female, flattering, empowering and timeless" by simply mixing and matching the pieces.

This collection is definitely something you should check out.

Now, the blog post is done, go scroll back up and ogle at the pictures some more.

Hope you like!

90's Nostalgia

Finals week.

That's why I've been MIA.

Anywhoo... Nothing interesting has been happening these days.

Oh, other than the fact that the 90's has made a huge comeback.

In my head at least.

And when I say 90's...

I mean 'N Sync.

'N Sync as in Joey, Lance, Justin, JC and Chris.

THAT 'N Sync.

I don't know why but I have been shoving boyband song after boyband song into my iTunes playlist thing.

(Did I say boyband? I meant vocal group!)

I guess I just miss being young

-er.

Proofs of my addiction:

Yes, that's young me.
But I have this frame next to my bed.
Sort of.

Oh and back in CSB, we were asked to write a book review on any book we chose. Want to know what book I picked?

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Out of Sync.
Lance Bass' Auto-biography.
Which I have perched on top of my TV.
So, if I were to wake up in the morning and sit up, that's one of the first few things I'd see.

Having all of their CD's is probably already a given.

But what's weird is...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
I have two copies of two of their CD's.
The Greatest Hits album... I forgot where I got the other one but my first copy, I bought from China when I went there to study.
Then, the Celebrity album, I bought my second copy 'cause it had this bonus DVD thing that didn't come with the first one.

In total, I think I spent, give or take, Php5,000 on all these CD's.

Worth it?
TOTALLY.

Hope you guys like this more candid view of my life.

Tell me what you want to see on the next post.

Miss you guys!

What has been keeping me busy + Giveaway Update

You know how when we were little, we'd ask our parents for permission to go out with our friends and they'd ask for proof?

Like they would confirm it with your friends' parents or something like that?

Well, every time I tell you guys that I have been busy with school work, I never really show you guys what I have been busy with.

So, I thought I'd show you guys what I am currently working on.

But before anything, I thought I'd show you my OOTD.

I decided to scrap the challenge until my blister heals so, this is just a regular OOTD. :-)

Isn't she the cutest??

Anywhoo, here are two of my most recent homework thingies.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Here's my homework for my Elements and Principles of Design class. We had to show like the different shades going from light to dark.

I decided to make mine in owl form.

Cuties! :-)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Then this ones for my Color Theory class.

We were given a drawing of a room and we had to paint it with a monochromatic color scheme. What do you think?

I was kind of iffy about the pattern on the ceiling but I was like, what the heck! LOL

I'd love to hear what you think just in case my prof makes me repeat the whole thing! LOL

Oh and by the way, I need four more people for the race kit winner!

All you have to do is leave a comment on the other blog post and you'll automatically win your very own race kit!

So, that's it for now!

Hope you like!

QUESTION OF THE DAY:
If you were to paint a room with a monochromatic color scheme, what color would you choose/what would it look like?

MeTime in Bazaar Form + About My Day (7/25/11)

If you guys don't already know, I co-own an online store with my friend Des of Homeless Coconut. Our store is called MeTime Manila and we sell clothes and some bohemian accessories and stuff like that.

We've always only been an online store but, here's the exciting part.

MeTime Manila is going to evolve into it's bazaar form on August 6-7, 2011. Here's the information!

Yay! So, be sure to drop by MeTime's booth and we could snap a couple of pictures and blog about each other! :-)

So, there! I hope you guys drop by!

Anywhooo...

I was supposed to have classes today but then I got a text from my friend Jianina (who was from the morning class) asking if she could crash at my house because their class was cancelled.

A little while later, I got texts saying that the afternoon class was cancelled as well.

So, there. I got an unexpected free day.

Jianina stayed here a bit and we did plates and ate lunch and went to Des's house and went to SM + Starmall!

Des and Jianina at Japan Home Center looking for cheap art supplies!
(Zoom in on Des's Toenails and Jianina's Shoes)

After dropping Jianina off at Galleria, me and Des went on to Sunrise Buckets to meet up with our other friend Rachelle.

Oh and by the way, we recruited Jianina, a very very very talented accessories maker, to help us with making the accessories for MeTime.

Here is one of her creations!
This will be up on our FaceBook page thingy soon and will also be available in the bazaar!

Anywhoo...
SUNRISE BUCKETS!

All our phones!
Notice how we all have one smart phone and then one very inexpensive phone? LOL!

We didn't know why but we got a box of iced tea (that tastes like taho) for free!

Buckets of Buffalo Wings in Honey Mustard and Real American Wings!
YUMMEH!

This is what Honey Mustard looks like! :-)
Ohnoes, I'm hungry again!

I absolutely love the decor!
As well as the tracks they played in the restaurant!
Very reggae/surf-ish!

Enjoying my chicken!

Sorry for the abnormal angle! LOL

BONES!!

Afterwards, we went to Greenhills and literally walked the perimeter from one National Bookstore to the other.

When I got home...

Hello again plates!

So there! That's my day! I promise to post a beauty related post tomorrow but for now that's all I have to say.

Oh and a tiny itsy bitsy haul of belated birthday gifts from Rachelle. :-)

REALLY BRIGHT YELLOW nail polish!
Do any of you know what brand this is? I'm curious!

Gray leggings!

So, there!

Hope you like!

QUESTION OF THE DAY?
Will you guys be able to visit our booth on the 6th or 7th of August?
(Please say yes!)
