Bizarre Day

Did I say bizzare? I meant BAZAAR! =))

Okay corny.

Anyways, last Saturday, I went to the Fashion Rev bazaar.

I was kinda on a tight budget so I wasn't able to make much purchases. But it was still cool to hang out at the place.

Here's what you see when you first enter.

Another thing that made hanging out at the bazaar fun was the little segments they had on the little stage they had set up.

This was taken on a modeling workshop. :-)

FOOD GALORE.

Anywhoo, I love the fact that even if you don't have extra cash, the Fashion Rev bazaar was still a good place to hang out because of the little workshops they prepared.

After the Fashion Rev bazaar, Ann, Aya, her friend, Paulo and I headed on over to the Noel bazaar for the Miss Kat Soap product launch.

Miss Kat Soap is a cosmetic brand that wants every girl to feel happy and beautiful inside and out. We deliver products that promises for a healthy, nourished skin - naturally.

I absolutely loooooved the setup of their booth!! It's so whimsical and pretty!!

I absolutely LOOOOOOVE the packaging of their items!! Definitely Christmas gift-ables!

So there, I'll talk more about the products once I have used it already and yeah.

This is what I get for not prioritizing my outfit pictures. Seriously.

I initially put on some distressed shorts but then, I found out that we had a meeting at an architects office so I switched quickly into jeans.

I hope my edited version of reality helped make it easier for you guys to imagine it.

Anywhoo, after work, I went to the launching of the Vincente Manansala collection for Freeway. Here's le tenue.

Let's talk about what went on.

There were live drawing things being done in the lower floor and it was all cool and the artwork were all awesome too.

They then showed a short video about Vicente Manansala so, we got to know the man behind the canvas.

Tim Yap and Divine Lee were hosts and they both looked awesome.

Then, there was a fashion show and here are some of the few good shots I got.

So, there you go. Ann (i-beautyaddict) has some of my other pictures so, I'll show you that when I get a hold of it.

So, yeah!

It's now 12am and I have to be up again in 6 hours.

Awesome! :|

Oh and this is my FAVORITE piece out of everything!!! It's for Php1,595 though... So I'll have to think about that.

Glam Camp Day 2

Today was a sad day for my camera.

Anyways, I wasn't able to peruse the area much cause I had a booth to attend to but still, I did not leave the event empty handed.

I got the Glam Camp canvas shopping bag (which I used to school today) full of goodies!

So, that was the content of our canvas bags.

Then, me and Des went to the Fashion Compass booth and she told me to "pick one". I was like, why? Then she told me that it was her super belated birthday gift to me and I was like DREAMCATCHER!!!

Then, our booth was beside the booth of Smart Alternatives. During the first day I was like, who are they?? Then, on the second day, I found out that they were this newly established magazine which is an advocate for...

wait for it...

LIVING GREEN!!!!!!!!

How serendipitous is that??


I somehow went home with two copies of their magazines, I will DEFINITELY be blogging about this!!!

Then, remember on the first day, I was nominated to be the Skin White Flawless girl but lost to Dana of the Plump Pinays? Well, during the second day, as I was getting myself some Chubby Chicken, I heard the host introduce the search for flawless girl for Day 2.

I was happily (not to mention HUNGRILY) waiting for my chicken when I heard the host say..

"Where's Michelle? Is she still here?"

I was like, whuuuut?? I went to the stage and the host was like,

"I don't think anyone will argue if we pick her."

So, there.

That's how I got this lovely skin white package containing the following items.



Then, towards the end of the night, Ms. Milette, along with some girls wearing kimonos approached our booth.

Turns out, they were from Skin Food and they gave us some more little samples!

So, that's all I got from the bazaar!

QUESTION OF THE DAY:

Glam Camp Day 1

Hi guys,

First of all, Belle, nakakainis ka. Pinaguilty mo ko. :))) Look at her very guilt-inducing comment.

"Hi Mich... been missing your posts really. I know nga you've been really busy at school. That's why. I was happy to notice this on my dashboard..."

This is why I decided to post about this immediately, to make up for all those post-less days.

FYI, I went into this doing one post a day so letting a day go by without a blog post was unusual for me.

Anyways, yesterday was Glam Camp Day 1 and MeTime Manila (look for us on FaceBook!) was a part of this bazaar. This is what happened!

We got to Alphaland at around 10am + in the morning.

This is Paulo and Des setting up our broken clothes rack.

Funny story. While Des left our booth to buy some plastic bags (cause we forgot to bring some) the rack TIPPED OVER. Not just the racks though but it brought the clothes along with it! I didn't know what to do because I was at the booth alone.

Good thing the guy watching the Plump Pinays' booth helped me tie our rack to the pole.

All throughout the event, they had talks about a variety of topics. This particular one is a talk about Reproductive Health. It was very very very awkward listening to it, but I cannot deny that it was informative. :-)

Then there was a talk about Fashion and different tips and tricks for different scenarios, locations and body types!
