Fashion: Accessorization (Short Necklaces)

First of all, let us acknowledge my photographer for the night. He refused to take the photo until I was smiling to the camera so, that's why they all look so 1x1 I.D. picture-esque.

He said the flash was too bright. That's why he looks like that!

Anyways, here's the post!

For statement pieces like the photo above, you need a plain top or ones with patterns that are repetitive so that the piece will still stand out.

Or, like the photo above, you can wear it with a low-ish neckline so that the focus would all be on the piece.

Using the piece under a black blazer would make the piece pop because of the contrast of the colors.

Using it with a tube top will also give the focus to the piece especially with the absence of straps or sleeves.

I've seen this style before. My little brother calls it the girl version of the bow tie. So, if you're somehow required to wear a collared shirt, here's a unique way to sport your necklace.

As for the smaller necklaces, every clothing item I said that you shouldn't wear with long-chained necklaces, you can wear with short necklaces.

For example, you can wear it with a graphic top because it doesn't disturb the designs.

You can also wear it with a v-necked top because the neckline highlights the piece itself.

Also, short necklaces do nothing to disturb details like ruffles on tops.

It also does nothing to disturb the neckline-design on the top in the photo above.

Also, even though in the photo above, the design is not full along the neckline, you still would not want to take away from the accent piece so, a short necklace is a better option.

Here's another accent piece you do not want to take away from. If you have details like a bow on the sleeve, you'd want to wear a short necklace so that you won't take away from the accent piece.

So, yeah!
