Beauty in a Box: Banana Monster

Hellooooooooooo!!

In my last haul [Click Here!], some of you said that you wished you had the Beauty in a Box that Ann gave me. Naturally, that gave me an idea for another series!

Basically, what I'm gonna do is do what them cards say and show you guys!

Like in every one of my new series-es, tell me if I should continue this!

So, let's get on with it!

This is the one that I picked for today's post.

Here are the materials! I added a fork for mashing and my banana seemed a little small-ish.

I took off the black parts cause I don't wanna be putting black parts on my face. And since the card said only 1/3 of the banana is needed...

I ate some! I kind of left a half of the banana cause as I said, my banana was small-ish.

I mashed it really good with the fork.

And I basically just slapped it all on my face and rubbed it around and then rinsed my face! It had a cooling effect while I had it on my face! It felt nice. :)

Here's the before and after shot.

Okay, to make this post about ten times more helpful, I made a list.

WRONG THING I DID #1: I didn't mash it enough. As you can see in the photos, it did not adhere to my face good enough. It all kept falling off. So, using something like a mortar and pestle would be nicer!

WRONG THING I DID #2: I used too much banana. Even with my small-ish banana, there were still some left! (Refer to the photo below.) So, if the card said 1/3, it means 1/3.

WRONG THING I DID #3: Do not do this over your sink. The banana lumps might clog your sink.

WRONG THING I DID #4: Be sure to wash your face completely off. I had some banana pieces stuck in my hairline after this.

So, yeah! I didn't find any immediate differences but I think it would be a fun mother-daughter activity or a fun slumber party activity or even just a pampering day activity!

Tell me if you want more.

Hope you like!
